For most offices and factories in Nigeria, ergonomics is still an afterthought. We have old chairs, wrong monitor heights, long sitting hours, or manual lifting without aids. This is usually due to the fact that most businesses do not see it as a source of concern. Maybe if businesses were held liable for injuries and ill health, they would see the need for focusing on ergonomics in the workplace. What low-cost ergonomic improvements can we make with limited budgets?
